Our Mission
ROOTED IN SCIENCE. GUIDED BY HEART.
Our instruction is grounded in the science of reading and thoughtfully delivered, blending research-backed practices with responsive teaching to build
strong literacy skills and confidence for all learners.

At Naples Literacy, we believe that strong literacy and language
skills serve as the foundation for success.
Our Mission is to grow confident readers, writers, and communicators through personalized, evidence-based literacy practices. Through individualized support, we empower students to become confident, independent learners who advocate for themselves and experience the joy of reading.
Through comprehensive literacy assessments, dyslexia identification, evidence-based structured literacy intervention, and collaboration with families, we seek to help students become confident academically, socially, and beyond.
In addition to direct student instruction, we provide guidance & support to families by helping parents understand their child's unique literacy profile, ways to be an advocate in their child’s academic journey, and equipping them with practical strategies to foster growth at home & in the classroom.
Our Commitment
At Naples Literacy, we are committed to utilizing evidence-based practices & actively engaging with research in literacy science in order to provide the highest quality care for students.
Our approach is rooted in practices supported by the science of reading, or a collective group of trusted neuroscience and literacy research that explains how the brain learns to read, processes language, and responds best to instruction. For more information on the science of reading, please visit Dyslexia & Reading. Our dyslexia intervention is grounded in decades of reading research proven effective and transformative for students with dyslexia.
We believe that by pursuing continued education & striving for excellence in our practice, we maximize the impact we can have on each student's literacy journey and
honor the trust families place in us.
With this in mind, we utilize trusted research to guide & inform instructional practices to ensure that students are provided with high-quality, prescriptive, structured literacy instruction to support growth in the five major areas of reading (as recognized by the National Reading Panel, 2001): phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and reading/language comprehension.
